Who you're buying from

The files in the shop are published by PreparedStates and sold by TMR Digital, which is the name you'll see on your card statement. Contact: hello@preparedstates.com.

What you get and what you pay

You get the PDF file or files you choose, at the price shown on the product page, in US dollars, paid once by card through Stripe. A bundle is the same full files, sold together. It isn't a subscription and there is nothing to cancel. The total you'll pay is shown on the Stripe checkout page before you pay.

Delivery

Nothing is shipped. As soon as Stripe confirms your payment, the page you land on gives you your downloads and a personal link to them that works for at least a year. If you lose it, email us from the address you paid with and we'll send it again.

Your license

One purchase covers one household. You may keep copies on your own devices, print as many copies as your household needs, and give a printed copy to family who'd be helping you in an emergency. You may not resell, publish or share the file outside your household. If you want to use a file with tenants, staff or members, email us first.

Refunds

Because the files are digital downloads you can keep as soon as you've paid, all sales are final and we don't give refunds for a change of mind. If a file won't download or open, or something in it is wrong, email us within 30 days of buying: we'll fix it, send a working copy, or refund you in full. If you were charged twice by mistake, we'll refund the extra charge.

Our handbooks are general information to help a household prepare, built on official US guidance. They are not legal, financial, medical or safety advice for your situation, and they don't replace instructions from emergency services or your state or local emergency management office. In an emergency, call 911. PreparedStates is independent and not affiliated with the US government.

Our responsibility

To the extent the law allows, our total responsibility to you for anything to do with a purchase is limited to the price you paid for it. Nothing in these terms takes away any right you have under the consumer protection laws of your state.

Your payment details

Card payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your card number. We receive your email address, the billing details Stripe collects, what you bought and what you paid, and keep them as business records. See our privacy policy.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version shown when you bought applies to your purchase.
