How long will a power station last?
It depends on what you plug in. These are runtimes for one appliance at a time, worked out from Energy Star's figures and the makers' manuals. Pick an appliance to see every model we compare, or use the calculator for a whole list.

| Running just this | 300Wh | 1,000Wh | 2,000Wh |
|---|---|---|---|
| Refrigerator | 2.5 to 5 hours | 8 to 17 hours | 16 to 35 hours |
| Freezer (chest or upright) | 3 to 7 hours | 9.5 to 23 hours | 19 to 46 hours |
| CPAP (blower only: humidifier and heated tube off) | 7.5 to 16 hours | 26 to 55 hours | 2 to 4 days |
| Gas furnace blower (1/3 to 1/2 HP) | about 0.5 hours | about 1.5 hours | 2.5 to 3.5 hours |
| Modem and Wi-Fi router | 8 to 11 hours | 27 to 38 hours | 2 to 3 days |
| TV (32 to 65-inch LED) | 1.5 to 5.5 hours | 5.5 to 19 hours | 11 to 38 hours |
| Home oxygen concentrator | 0.5 to 1 hour | about 2.5 hours | 4.5 to 5.5 hours |
| Window air conditioner (10,000 BTU) | 0 to 0.5 hours | 0.5 to 1 hour | 1.5 to 2.5 hours |
| Sump pump (1/2 HP) | about 0 hours | about 1 hour | about 1.5 hours |
Capacity × 90% usable × 85% inverter efficiency ÷ (the appliance's average draw + about 10W the station uses itself). A small station may not start a refrigerator's compressor at all: each appliance's page checks every model's surge rating.
