How long will a power station run an oxygen concentrator?
A 1,000Wh power station runs an oxygen concentrator on its own for about 2.5 hours, and a 2,000Wh one for about 4.5 to 5.5 hours.

Runtime: capacity × 90% usable × 85% inverter efficiency ÷ (the appliance's average draw + about 10W the station uses itself), a range from the low and high average draw. "Runs it?" checks the station's output against 275–325W running, the cautious figures from generator makers' and DTE Energy's charts. Many modern appliances start with less, so "Check" means read your appliance's label (amps × 120 = watts). Plan on the low end of every runtime.
Where the figures come from
Maker figures: the Inogen At Home draws 275 watts maximum and the Invacare Perfecto2 V 325 watts typical. Makers don't publish lower figures for low flow, so plan on the maximum. A power station is not a substitute for back-up oxygen: Inogen's manual recommends having an alternate oxygen source in case of a power outage. Talk to your oxygen supplier and your doctor before relying on any battery. See medical devices in a power outage.

How long will a 1,000Wh power station run an oxygen concentrator?
About 2.5 hours, running nothing else, on the figures behind this page. Plan on the low end.
What size power station do I need for an oxygen concentrator?
For 12 hours, about 4,863Wh, or 5,255Wh for an older or larger one, with at least 325W of output.
Can a power station run an oxygen concentrator in an outage?
Yes, if its output covers about 325W. A power station is safe to run indoors, unlike a generator.
